Cognitive rest platform
DriftMind is an AI that intentionally stops trying to hold your attention — and gives your mind the unstructured space it needs to recover.
The problem
Headspace has a streak. Calm has a daily challenge. Your meditation app sends you push notifications. The entire wellness industry is built on the same engagement loops as the social media it claims to counter. Nobody has built the opposite — until now.
How DriftMind works
Passive signals — typing rhythm, tab switching frequency, time-between-actions — build a real-time picture of your mental load. No wearables, no surveys.
When you're overloaded, DriftMind gently surfaces something: a map of a forgotten city, a 1952 field journal, ambient audio from Kyoto rain. Content with no agenda.
The longer you engage, the less the algorithm adapts to you. It is the only recommendation engine designed to gradually stop recommending — on purpose.
A session ends with a quiet nudge — no gamification, no congratulations, no streak to protect. You drifted. That's enough.
What a drift session looks like
Not entertainment. Not education. Drift content is selected to be genuinely, quietly interesting — with no next step and nothing to buy.
The difference
Every design decision in DriftMind runs counter to standard product logic. No DAU targets. No retention metrics. Success is measured in minutes of genuine rest, not minutes in-app.
We're onboarding a small group of teams this summer. No commitment required.
No spam. No engagement tactics. You can probably guess why.
